List 3: Crushes, now and then

OK, #listmania 3. I was super excited when I saw this weeks topic, I mean what a great excuse to spend a few hours googling pics of some of my favorite crushes over the years.

First, the past crushes:

Oh, where to start! There were so many names scrawled over my high school notebooks, some of the usual heart-throbs, a few more unusual choices and a few names of boys in our class that my friends and I were secretly in love with but far too shy to actually speak to them.

*Keanu Reeves,
*Brad Pitt,
*Bruce Willis,
*Brandon Lee,
*Steven Segal
(what can I say, I have a thing for action heroes)
* Tim Curry, (but only in fishnets, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is one of my all-time favourite movies)
*Prince
*Iggy Pop (old and wrinkly but still awesome)
*John Corbett (before S&tC made him famous, he was the hunky DJ Chris on Northern Exposure)
*Daniel Johns (silverchair)

Now for the current crushes:

The list is a whole lot smaller these days, I still like a lot of my old favourites and there’s lots of hotties on tv, but serious crushes? (I must be getting pickier as I get older.)
The only real celebrity crush I can think of would still have to be Johnny Depp, from the early days in 21 Jump St, right through to the most recent movies, he’s still a hottie, no matter how bizarre some of his movies might be.

The only other crush I’ve had in recent years is a real life one. A friends brother I met at a kids birthday party and thought he was a bit cute, a few months later we met again and he asked for my phone number. Long story short – I ended up marrying him! Yep, my most recent crush was and still is my adorable hubby. ❤️❤️❤️

Great husband, great dad, what more can a girl ask for?
